Probem Statement
The client, an Australian construction and fitout specialist company, needed a website that distinctly represented their unique brand identity and stood out in a competitive market. They wanted a platform that effectively communicated their services while reflecting their specific vision and design preferences, which were not clearly articulated at the outset. The challenge was to translate the client’s abstract ideas into a tangible, high-quality digital experience that not only showcased their capabilities but also appealed to a diverse audience.Â

How I Start This Project
I collaborated closely with the client to extract their vision through iterative discussions, mood boards, and visual exploration.
After gaining a deeper understanding of their aesthetic preferences and business goals, I designed a visually compelling website with clean, modern layouts and dynamic elements. The design emphasized their specialty in construction and fitout projects, featuring a sophisticated color palette, strong typography, and strategically placed call-to-actions to engage users. The final design delivered an intuitive user experience while highlighting the client’s expertise and unique offerings.
Challenge on this Project
Abstract Client Vision: The client’s initial ideas were not fully formed or communicated clearly, making it difficult to establish a direction. Overcoming this involved extensive ideation and visual explorations to align on a shared vision.
Balancing Creativity and Usability: The client wanted a unique design that would stand out, but it was important to ensure usability wasn’t compromised. Finding a balance between an artistic approach and practical UI/UX standards required careful consideration.
Frequent Iterations and Feedback Cycles: Due to the client’s evolving preferences, the project went through multiple iterations. Managing these changes while staying on schedule and maintaining design integrity was a key challenge.
