The Story

  1. The project involved a comprehensive redesign of the website to enhance its design, usability, and functionality.

Akwaline’s (Netherland company) previous website fell short in terms of user-friendly, functionality, and user experience. To address these issues, they sought to revamp the site to better meet customer needs, the company’s growth and operational efficiency, and position themselves as a leader in the niche market.

Problem | Solution

1. Outdated and Unattractive Design

Problem: The old website’s design was outdated and did not effectively showcase the high-quality products of Akwaline.

Solution: We implemented a modern, visually appealing design that aligns with current web trends. The new design features high-resolution images, a clean layout, and intuitive navigation, making it easier for users to explore and engage with the products.

2. Limited E-commerce Functionality

Problem: The previous site didn’t have an automated e-commerce functionality and lacked features for managing promotions and customer interactions.

Solution: We upgraded the e-commerce features with an improved checkout process, support for multiple payment options, and tools for applying for discounts and promotions. We also added features like customer accounts and order tracking to enhance the shopping experience.

3. Mobile Experience Issues

Problem: The previous site didn’t work well on mobile devices, which was frustrating for users accessing the site from their phones or tablets.

Solution: We redesigned the site to be fully mobile-responsive. This means it looks and works well on any device, providing a smooth browsing experience whether users are on a smartphone or tablet.
